In the winter of 2021, PRISMA Co-Founder Brianna was studying for her sophomore year term one exams in a public library, amongst many other people of varying ages. With the intention of taking a break from the textbooks, she decided to wander around the area. It didn't take long for her to notice the countless amounts of students struggling in front of computer screens, alone. The stress of exams was great; the possibility of failure was seemingly impending. That's when Brianna realized that there was a critical amount of people who simply needed unwavering, strong, academic support from passionate experts to achieve their greatest goals in the future.

With this vision in mind, she began recruiting a team of tutors that spring, as finals season was around the corner. Every member of the PRISMA tutor community brought in new ideas and skill sets, expanding the horizons of the organization.

Music

Later that spring, one member, who was a performing concert pianist, recommended PRISMA expand into the musical industry, propelling students to not only be academically strong, but also well-rounded.

As the music side of this studio gained immense traction within only months, PRISMA morphed into a social enterprise, creating a new system of bringing music to youth, specifically in underprivileged regions and households, completely free of charge.

Through the hard work of existing tutors, as well as volunteers and donors, this new system was able to hit several regions across Ontario, changing the lives of countless people.
